HOW TO POT A PLANT

How to pot a plant –
a step by step guide

Have you bought a vessel from the open-air range and a matching plant and now want to pot it like a pro? We’ll show you how!

Introduction

Before you plant the pot, leave the terracotta to stand in water for 2-3 minutes so that the clay absorbs moisture in advance and the water is not removed from the soil.

Put the SK Open-Air vessel on a solid base. Place fragments or stones in the bottom of the vessel so that the water drainage hole can’t be clogged up with the roots of the plant. This ensures that the water can drain off and the plant can’t block the hole with its roots.

Half-fill the pot with soil and put the plant in. Now you can fill the rest of the empty space with soil and press it down.

Then water the plant well- done!
