Orchids live soft water, preferably rainwater. They should be submerged in water every sx to ten days or watered once a week. Place the orchids in water for about five minutes as soon as the green roots show a silver sheen. Then place the orchids in an orchid vase so the water can dripoff into the small water reservoir under the ceramic bridge - SK calls it Flower Safe.
All SK orchid vases have a ledge on the inside - the so-called FlowerSafeLedge. Excess water can drip down and is collected in the lower part of the vase. Preventing waterlogging!
